You Will Be Responsible For:
Laboratory Outreach Services for the CFD South including Skilled Nursing Facilities, Assisted Living Facilities, Reference testing for AdventHealth Hospitals physician practices, independent medical practices, government agencies, corporate clinics, health fairs, home care agencies and hospitals.
Responsible for operations of: Client Services, Phlebotomists, Community Draw locations, Nursing Home services including phlebotomy, Specimen Processing and coordination with Laboratory Operations, Couriers and routes, courier vehicle fleet, EMR interfaces, Business Development, Marketing, supplies, field service representatives and matrixed management of registration, coding and billing departments.
Establishes reporting and approval procedures and delegates to Directors, Sr. Managers, Managers and staff necessary authority to direct the work of the Laboratory Outreach business.
Implements customer service initiatives that are aligned with organizational expectations. Identifies and resolves problems received from patients, physicians and employees in a respectful, consistent manner.
Monitors budget performance formulating action plans to address volume, revenue, expenses and labor productivity variances.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, health care or related field
Six (6) years of outreach or clinical laboratory experience, related healthcare management experience, or Business Development experience
Four (4) years in a Leadership capacity
Ability to think strategically and to make appropriate decisions in stressful circumstances.
Advanced abilities in financial management, reporting, analysis as well as operational and capital planning.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all levels of colleagues; to build and maintain effective, productive teams.
Reporting to the Vice President Ambulatory Services, the Executive Director is responsible for Laboratory Outreach Services in the Central Florida Division South Region and any future geographical area assigned. This role is responsible for the strategy, financial results and operations of the Outreach program. The Executive Director will achieve desired outcomes in financial performance, growth, costs, provider and patient satisfaction and other system initiatives. The Executive Director will ensure an organizational structure and staffing to effectively accomplish businesses goals and objectives, maintain positive relations throughout the organization, create a culture of continuous improvement, coach and develop leaders, hold leaders accountable for results and effective leadership, remain current regarding trends, developments, legislation and legal requirements that impact the business and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. The Executive Director will ensure that the business promotes and extends the organization’s mission and values to employees and patients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
