Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time/ Nights

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Provides communication regarding patient complaints and risk situations to leadership for day-to-day concerns that require notification.

  • Communicates to Administrator-On-Call, for consultative problem solving in time frame appropriate for situation.

  • Initiates corrective action for immediate staff performance problems and notifies Director and Nurse Leader of actions taken or need for further assessment and follow up.

  • Strategize with Nursing Leadership to facilitate patient flow from all portals of entry.

  • Monitors bed utilization/verification on a continual basis


What You Will Need:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Acute Care/ED with at least 1 year of supervisory experience

  • FL Registered Nurse Licensure

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS

  • NIHSS Stroke

Job Summary:

Coordinates shift staffing, facilitates patient flow, serves as resource person and hospital management representative for the assigned shift; and facilitates the delivery of patient services from all hospital departments during the evening and night shifts.
