Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full Time, 5:30am - 2:30pm

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Planting, Mowing, Edging, Mulching, Daily Trash/Debris Clean-up, Trimming, Pruning, Blowing, Watering, Spraying in accordance with campus schedules and department standards.

  • Treat nuisance weeds and undesirable vegetation in landscape bedding whether it be by chemical or physical means. Follow detailed department expectations for how and when to treat.

  • Be a very strong team player with a positive attitude.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Valid Florida Class E driver’s license and safe driving record in accordance with AventHealth policy

  • Minimum 2 years healthcare groundskeeper maintenance experience (Preferred)

  • Self-motivated, with good organizational skills.

  • General knowledge of grounds maintenance and landscape plants used in Florida.

  • Skilled in the use of common landscape equipment such as weedeaters, hedge trimmers, edgers, hand mowers, etc.

Job Summary:

Performs a wide range of routine landscaping maintenance tasks using hand or power tools or equipment. Duties may include any combination of the following: sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, spraying, edging, pruning and sprinkler installation. Must be able to work odd hours to get work completed.
